IT services provider Penta receives top rating in audit

Swiss IT infrastructure provider Penta is pleased to announce it has achieved a ‘no deviations noted’ rating following its latest independent audits by Ernst & Young (EY).

A ‘no deviations noted’ rating is the best possible for the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) 08/07 audit and the International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE) 3402 audit, ensuring Penta’s services adhere to some of the most stringent compliance regulations in the world.

The audits are also recognised by other major regulators like the US Security and Exchanges Commission (SEC), the UK Prudential Regulation Authority (PRU) and the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).
Peter Philp, Penta’s Communication Manager, said: “With Penta’s regular audits, our clients can prove to the authorities that their IT is managed as it should be. But perhaps more importantly, they have peace of mind and can also reassure their own clients their services are absolutely secure.”

To complete the audits, Penta had to demonstrate its services are sufficiently robust to meet the standards required by international financial regulations to operate in the global financial services industry. As such, the audits are a mark of quality for the services Penta provides and an approval of the manner in which the company monitors and manages these services for clients.

The purpose of these assurance reports is to provide businesses and their clients with an objective report that expresses an opinion about the control environment of a service organisation.

The latest audit certificates provide an independent and objective opinion about Penta’s quality of service and its provisions to maintain them, providing peace of mind to Penta’s clients that it is a responsible operator. The audit covers key aspects of Penta’s business, including security measures, data protection, environmental controls and service level agreements.

Operating globally and with offices in Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates, Penta puts a great emphasis on client security to provide customers peace of mind their data will be safe.

Penta’s data centres are nearly impossible to attack, both physically and virtually, while the company has put multiple barriers in place to stop cybercriminals from accessing clients’ data, including hiring ethical hackers to identify potential security weaknesses so they can be locked down, preventing any future attacks.
