FDM Group, a global tech consultancy, has partnered with the Cisco Networking Academy to meet the demands for skilled consultants proficient in networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing and Digital Transformation.

This follows the recent news that FDM has introduced five new specialist practices as part of a rebrand aimed at transforming digital skills development.

The practices have been set up to navigate the rapid pace of tech innovation and the changing expectations of both employees and employers. The five practices include Software Engineering; Data and Analytics; Change and Transformation; Risk, Regulation and Compliance; and IT Operations.

FDM aims to utilise their IT Operations practice to align with the Cisco Networking Academy’s objective of training the next generation of the tech workforce. Through this partnership, participants will have access to the most sought-after Cisco programmes such as the Cisco Certified Network Engineer (CCNA), designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the fast-paced world of technology consulting.

The Cisco Networking Academy offers a wide range of resources and training programmes to help individuals upskill in technology and prepare them for careers.

“As businesses increasingly rely on digital technologies to drive innovation and growth, the demand for skilled consultants proficient in networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing and Digital Transformation has never been higher,” said Andy Brown, Chief Commercial Officer, FDM Group. “Recognising the importance of upskilling the workforce for the digital age, we have joined forces with the Cisco Networking Academy to leverage our training and coaching capabilities to meet the evolving needs of today’s businesses.”
