Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has announced that Mark Weeks has been appointed to lead the HPE Aruba Networking UK and Ireland Sales business, assuming the role on March 11.
He joins the company after 10 years at Akamai Technologies, where he most recently led the global channel business development.
Weeks is a highly accomplished business leader with over 25 years of international experience in sales, strategic relationship building, channel management, operational management and more. He has been holding various managerial positions within Akamai as well as other multinational and global technology leaders, including Intel and BT Group. Building on this experience, Weeks is now driving the business for the key regions UK and Ireland, directly reporting into Sherifa Hady, VP and General Manager EMEA Sales.

In his new role, Weeks will focus on advancing sales strategies in line with cross regional and global targets, inspiring and engaging team members and positioning HPE Aruba Networking as a leader not only in the networking, but also the security market. With his expertise in driving high-level business transformation and as a go-to-market specialist in merger and acquisition engagements, Mark will play a key role in galvanising the UK and Ireland sales organisation as HPE transitions into a networking-first organisation.
