Accelya, a leading global software provider for the airline industry, has announced a five-year strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to advance airline adoption of flexible, scalable and future-ready retailing solutions.
The partnership will focus on expanding Accelya’s FLX ONE platform, offering airlines secure and modular technology that can integrate seamlessly with existing systems. By leveraging this collaboration, airlines can accelerate modern retailing initiatives, drive innovation faster and enhance both customer experience and return on investment.
“Airlines are increasingly moving toward modern retailing, and Accelya provides a true alternative to legacy systems that limit flexibility and innovation,” said Sam Gilliland, CEO of Accelya. “Together with AWS, we are delivering a scalable, open platform that empowers airlines to adopt modern retailing at their own pace. With modular technology and AI-driven capabilities through Accelya’s AIViator, the FLX ONE platform helps airlines unlock new levels of innovation, customer satisfaction, and growth.”
Under the agreement, AWS will contribute technical expertise to support the development of cloud-native, AI-ready and modular solutions that enable airlines to transform their retailing models quickly. The collaboration emphasises both companies’ commitment to innovation and interoperability in airline retailing.
Currently, the FLX ONE platform powers over 50% of global NDC volumes and generates more than 30 billion unique offers daily, a scale set to expand further under this partnership.
