Templus, one of the largest data centre platforms in Southern Europe and AtlasEdge, a leading European data centre provider, have agreed that Templus will acquire nine data centres from AtlasEdge.
The transaction reinforces AtlasEdge’s strategy of investing in larger, highly scalable sites while enabling Templus to expand internationally and strengthen its regional footprint.
The facilities are located in Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Zurich, Paris, Amsterdam, London, Leeds and Copenhagen.
Subject to customary regulatory approvals, the transaction is expected to complete in the first half of 2026. AtlasEdge will retain operational responsibility for the sites and continue serving customers until completion.
Following the acquisition, Templus will manage a portfolio exceeding 60MW and serve more than 750 customers across high-growth European colocation markets. The deal delivers immediate synergies in Spain and marks Templus’ first step into broader European expansion.
For AtlasEdge, the divestment supports a sharpened focus on large-scale campuses in Germany, Austria, and Portugal. The company is developing a 42MW facility in Vienna and a 30MW campus in Lisbon, representing planned investment exceeding €500 million. In October, AtlasEdge secured €253 million in green financing and launched its first Lisbon data centre, LIS001.
Templus executives highlighted the acquisition as a milestone for European expansion, while AtlasEdge leadership emphasised continued investment in future-ready infrastructure. Both companies stressed continuity for customers.
