OpenText will make several enterprise data and AI solutions available on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud – a new independent cloud designed for Europe.
The move expands OpenText’s hybrid sovereign cloud strategy and strengthens support for regulated European Union organizations requiring secure AI ready data platforms.
By offering its solutions through the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, OpenText enables customers to use AWS capabilities while ensuring sensitive data remains within European boundaries. This approach supports strict governance data residency and operational autonomy requirements across the EU.
Solutions available will include OpenText Content Management, OpenText Documentum Content Management, OpenText Core Application Security and OpenText Core Service Management. These platforms provide structured secure content management that prepares data for AI driven analytics and automation while maintaining enterprise grade security availability and performance.
Shannon Bell, Chief Digital Officer and Chief Information Officer, OpenText, said the company is extending its expertise in secure deployments to a sovereign cloud built specifically for Europe. She noted that customers can innovate at scale without sacrificing control or compliance.
The AWS European Sovereign Cloud operates independently within the EU and offers strong technical controls legal protections and sovereign assurances. Customers benefit from familiar AWS architecture, APIs and services, including innovations such as the AWS Nitro System.
This announcement reinforces OpenText’s commitment to European digital sovereignty and positions the company as a trusted partner for enterprise AI adoption.
